I am an independent Computer Scientist with interest in Machine Learning and Blockchain technologies.

I have more than ten years of experience in the IT sector, I have participated in its different areas: systems development, project management, network and server administration, technical support and training.

During my PhD I gained experience in the development and application of deep learning and deep reinforcement learning models, high performance computing and computer graphics.

I have the firm conviction that the application of artificial intelligence in all areas will make the use of resources more efficient and help us find new solutions. Blockchain technology will make the current economic system more fair and inclusive, these two technologies are key factors to improve the quality of life.

I developed a research project entitled "Crowd Simulation and Visualization". The objetive was to represent the most realistic possible scenarios in a city, this kind of systems are used in urban planning, simulating disasters, video games, among other applications. The project combined differents research areas such as Machine Learning, Parallel Programming Models, Computer Graphics among others.

Path-finding is an important topic in applications such as autonomous driving, robots and drones in order to navigate cluttered environments. I developed a new approach that operates directly on the grid or bitmap rather than first converting it to a graph making the implementation very hardware friendly. I applied a hierarchical approach that reduce the search space, identifying the areas of interest in high levels of abstraction, allowing the tree to be pruned as it is constructed, using an heuristic based on density and distance the algorithm gives priority to the shortest paths in areas with less obstacles.
